Understanding the X Algorithm

The X algorithm is constantly changing with it now being open source and its aim of being a trusted news outlet. It has been well documented that users can be "shadow banned" on the platform, restricting their reach and ability to connect with their community.

Common Problems seen with restricted accounts:

• Lack of engagement - not in line with no. of followers
• Marked as spam - finding the balance of using social media for work/ appearing as “organic” on the timeline
• Restricted reach - not finding target audience
• No growth
• Unwanted topics on the timeline

This guide aims to enable individuals to work with the current algorithm to increase their reach on X by explaining how the algorithm works and giving tips on how to work with it. All of the problems described above is addressed within this guide.
